Crypto Computers · Built in Australia · Shipped Worldwide
The Crypto Computer Most Investors Wish They'd Bought Sooner.
Your wallet isn't where most crypto gets lost. The computer is.
One compromised device. One phishing page. One browser extension that shouldn’t have been there. And a blockchain transaction that cannot be undone.
A dedicated crypto computer draws a hard line between your digital assets and everything else. No mixing. No accidental exposure. No crossover.
Every FreedomTech crypto computer is built and configured by us. Purpose-built. Individually to order. Shipped worldwide.
Wallet setup is completed by the client.
FreedomTech does not install software wallets, wallet extensions, or handle private keys.
CRYPTO COMPUTER OVERVIEW
Every Crypto Computer Leaves Us Configured, Tested, and Ready.
Most crypto investors spend hours researching wallets. Almost nobody thinks about the machine. We've already thought about it for you.
Every FreedomTech crypto computer arrives pre-configured with the right browsers, the right settings, and the recovery tools already in place.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. A purpose-built machine removes the avoidable risks — phishing pages, rogue browser extensions, device compromise. The things that cost Australians $180 million in crypto losses last year alone.
Built to be supportable.
If something goes wrong, there is a documented path back to a known-good baseline — without guesswork.

Crypto Computing Design
Why a Dedicated Crypto Computer Makes Sense
Keep Your Crypto Separate from Everything Else
Every serious crypto investor thinks carefully about their wallet. Very few think carefully about the machine it runs on.
Your everyday computer is a busy place. Emails, browsing, downloads, browser extensions — each one is a potential entry point. A single compromised session on a shared machine is all it takes. And because blockchain transactions are irreversible, there is no fraud department to call. No chargeback. No recovery path.
Linux reduces this risk significantly. There are no background telemetry processes harvesting your activity, no forced updates that install alongside unknown payloads, and a far smaller attack surface than Windows or macOS. It’s not magic — but it’s a meaningful, practical difference.
Separation is the principle. One machine for everything else. One machine for your digital assets. That line is easy to draw before something goes wrong. It’s impossible to draw after.

Crypto Computer FAQ
In-depth FAQ
We want to remove any complexity from buying or personalising your crypto computer from FreedomTech. Here are some of the more common questions we receive. If you have a question not listed, give us a call or email us, and we’ll respond as soon as possible.
Yes. It runs everyday tasks comfortably — email, browsing, documents, video calls. The point of a dedicated crypto computer isn't to lock you out of normal use; it's to keep your crypto activity structured and separate from everything else. Most clients use it as a confident second machine.
That's exactly why recovery tooling and documentation are included. Every FreedomTech crypto computer ships with a Rescue USB and written guidance, so there's a clear path back to a known-good baseline without guesswork. If you get stuck, contact us — these builds are designed to be supportable.
No. Wallet setup is completed by the client. FreedomTech does not install software wallets or wallet extensions, and we do not handle private keys. Your custody stays entirely with you — that's the point.
If your crypto activity is meaningful to you, a dedicated machine reduces the accidental mixing of daily browsing and crypto activity that causes most preventable losses. Blockchain transactions are irreversible — there's no fraud department to call. Many clients use a FreedomTech crypto computer alongside their everyday computer.
A Privacy Computer is a general-purpose Linux machine built for everyday private use. A Crypto Computer is prepared and delivered with a browser separation model, recovery tooling, and written guidance designed specifically around secure crypto use. Same hardened foundation, different purpose.
To keep wallet activity completely separate from everyday browsing. Brave handles your daily use. LibreWolf is reserved for wallet activity only. It's a simple operating rule that reduces cross-contamination of cookies, sessions, and extensions — and it's one of the most effective habits a serious crypto user can adopt.
Yes. The fastest help is when you tell us what you were trying to do, what you clicked, and what you're seeing on screen. These builds are designed to be supportable — there's a documented path back to a known-good baseline if anything goes wrong.
No product can promise that, and any company claiming otherwise isn't being honest with you. Our focus is practical preparation: a hardened baseline, sensible defaults, written guidance, and recovery tooling. That's what reduces real-world risk — not marketing language.
8GB is comfortable for a dedicated crypto machine running a couple of browsers, a password manager, and light everyday use. Choose 16GB if you run many tabs and charts simultaneously, use multi-monitor trading setups, or want extra headroom for the long term. Most clients with active trading routines prefer 16GB.
256GB is fine for a dedicated machine with focused use. Choose 512GB or 1TB if you want more headroom for downloads, documents, system snapshots, and several years of comfortable use without managing storage.
A laptop is the simplest option and works anywhere. A mini desktop is excellent for a tidy permanent desk setup with your own monitor. A tower gives you the most upgrade headroom and is the best fit if you want to add storage, RAM, or run multiple monitors over time. If you're not sure, contact us and tell us how you plan to use it — we'll point you to the right form factor.
No. Printing is not enabled by default on FreedomTech crypto builds. Print services are a known attack surface and they have no place on a machine dedicated to crypto activity. If you need to print, do it from a different computer.
Mullvad VPN is pre-installed on every crypto computer, but you activate it yourself with your own subscription. We can show you how to confirm it's connected if you choose to use it. A VPN is recommended but not strictly required — that decision is yours.
A simple habit: unplug it, place it inside a Faraday bag, and store it in a secure location between sessions. The Faraday bag blocks all wireless signals — cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS — so the device is genuinely offline when stored. FreedomTech stocks SLNT Faraday bags designed for laptops. It's a small step that meaningfully reduces exposure.
Often, yes — it depends on the hardware and the current state of the machine. Contact us with your model, age, and how you plan to use it, and we'll tell you whether a conversion makes sense or whether starting with a fresh build is the better path. We won't sell you a conversion if it isn't the right call.
Tell us your form factor (laptop, mini, or tower), what you were trying to do, and what you're seeing on screen — including any error messages. That's the fastest path to a useful answer. A quick screenshot helps even more if you can manage one.
